Description
This painting was completed in May 2022, but I could never think of a title... until I saw the theme of this competition. So I simply want to say: May glory return... to them.
Judge's Comment
The work radiates strong emotions of sorrow and melancholy. Fractured land divides Hongkongers who scattered across the globe after the political movement; great figures from the movement float away like old newspapers in the wind, fading into memory. The work faithfully reflects the current psychological state of the Hong Kong diaspora.
