Judge's Comment
The work evokes violent memories of the 721 and 831 attacks, where triad members and black-uniformed police indiscriminately assaulted Hong Kong protesters. The densely swinging transparent rods suspended in the MTR carriage fill the frame with an unbearable sense of suffocation—like a scar burned into memory that cannot be shaken loose.
