六四天安門追悼ナイト
Even if the truth is silenced in Hong Kong, the truth will always live in the world.
On the 33rd anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre — 4 June 2022 — Lady Liberty HK joined Act with HK, Dawn of Hong Kong, and Stand with HK@JPN for a candlelight commemoration at the South Exit of Shinjuku Station in Tokyo. Participants dressed in black; electronic candles were distributed on-site. Attendees were reminded to protect their personal information.
For over thirty years, Hong Kong hosted the largest annual commemoration of June 4 outside mainland China — the candlelight vigil in Victoria Park, attended by tens of thousands. Under the National Security Law, that vigil was banned, the Hong Kong Alliance dissolved, and its organisers imprisoned. The flame passed to the diaspora. That evening in Shinjuku, it burned.
