On 3 August 2025, Lady Liberty Hong Kong participated in the 6th Multicultural Coexistence Photography Exhibition (第六回多文化共生写真展), presenting photography entries selected for the 2nd Hong Kong Liberty Art Prize. Over 500 visitors attended the exhibition over the course of the day; many stopped to view the works and hear directly about the current situation in Hong Kong. The exhibition provided an opportunity to convey, through art, the suppression of Hong Kong by the Chinese Communist Party and the restrictions on freedom that residents now face.
At the venue, representatives exchanged with exhibitors from the Uyghur and Tibetan communities, sharing the challenges and work each community is engaged in. The conversations opened avenues for future collaboration among groups working in parallel to defend freedom and human rights.
The exhibition reaffirmed the importance of international solidarity, and of using culture and art as a vehicle for bringing Hong Kong's story to wider audiences in Japan.
