時代 (The Era)

Before emigrating to the UK, I spent a few months wandering around whenever I had free time, capturing interesting landscapes and compositions through photography. This painting was created a few months after arriving in the UK, inspired by revisiting those photos.

After leaving Hong Kong, I experienced a period where creating art felt difficult, making me realize how much this place means to me. Whether choosing to stay or leave, both paths are fraught with challenges, leaving a scar that is hard to heal. This is an unavoidable reality for Hongkongers in this era. May we never forget our original intentions.
